Spring 2012  Event

Bean Soup, Pie & Cornbread Event

Was well attended, thanks for coming.
As usual any people enjoyed our bean soup,
pies and cornbread at the
Blakeslee Log Cabin.
At least the weather was good, unlike some years though a bit of rain made it sloppy.

At this time I would like to express our sadness at the loss this last February of our dear friend Dr. Thomas E. Corts. Most of you know what a great contribution he made to Ashtabula history with his book “Bliss and Tragedy”. We are forever grateful for all he has meant to this Society as well as history in general, and he will be sadly missed.

Sincerely,
Cher Shepard
