Where is Ashtbula County, Ohio?

In the northeast corner of Ohio along the shore of Lake Erie halfway in between Cleveland, OH and Erie, PA.

Why is this part of Ohio called the "Western Reserve?

Northern Ohio was considered to be part of the land grant given to Connecticut, which said it extended from its eastern boundary westward with no limit. New York and Pennsylvania already had land claimed for some distance, so it was called the "Connecticut Western Reserve" when surveyed and settled from Connecticut.

Where did Cleveland get it's name.

The original survey party that first landed in the area of Conneaut at the edge of Ohio was led by General Moses Cleaveland, whose shortened name was given to the largest settlement.
